We tackled this bail bond issue by understanding how the current bail system functions. Through visualization in an ontological approach for each state, we better understand how the amount of bail bonds are determined differently in each state.

Upon being charged, the subjects can either agree to be released on their own recognizance (ROR), pay the bail amount in full, hire a bondman to pay to the court in place of them, or stay in custody until the hearing of sentence.

Current bail system in each state poses a number of problems, unfair for the defendant at times.
